Dunham started working at WTOL 11 after earning her degree from Texas Southern University, an HBCU located in Houston’s Historical 3rd ward neighborhood. Washington State is Dunham’s hometown. Seattle Mariners, Seattle Kraken, Seattle Supersonics, and University of Washington athletics all captivate him. When he was in elementary school, a teacher told him he would make an excellent sports journalist for the Seattle Mariners, which inspired him to pursue a career in journalism. Steve Pool was one of the first Black weather forecasters in the United States and a meteorologist from the Seattle Area. Sports news became hip for ESPN thanks to Stuart Scott.
