John Berman is an American anchor/ correspondent working for CNN as a co-anchor of the morning edition of CNN News Central and a regular relief presenter of Anderson Cooper 360°. He joined the CNN news team in June 2012, after previously working for ABC News.

These have included elections, the COVID-19 pandemic, and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, for which CNN received a DuPont-Columbia Award for its coverage.

He worked at ABC News for almost 17 years before going to CNN, and he has been on TV there since 2001.
