Ashley Ryan is an American anchor working for FOX31 as a morning anchor. She joined the FOX31news team in August 2021, after previously working for Griffin Communication Group.

Ryan comes to Denver from Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she anchored the top-rated 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. newscasts. However, despite her successful career in the evening news, she missed the early morning schedule and is excited to return to it, complete with lots of coffee and laughter. Her dream of telling impactful stories began at the age of 8, and even after 12 years in journalism, she finds it surreal. In Tulsa, she reported live at the State Capitol during the historic teacher walkout.
In addition to that, she covered former President Trump’s first campaign rally during the pandemic, investigated Oklahoma’s poorly ranked nursing homes, and contributed to the station’s Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards. Before her time in Tulsa, she anchored weekday mornings at WLTX in South Carolina, covering significant events such as the Charleston Church shooting, the Confederate Flag controversy at the State Capitol, and the historic thousand-year flood. She has also worked at WBIR in Knoxville, Tennessee, ABC 57 News in South Bend, Indiana, and WBKB in Alpena, Michigan.
Outside of work, she enjoys adventures with her adopted dog. Additionally, she has a passion for health and fitness, particularly strength and kickboxing. While she appreciates lake life and water sports, she is eager to explore hiking, camping, and snow sports in the mountains. She is a fan of football, live music, travel, local shopping, and Sunday brunch.
