Andy Scholes is an American anchor and reporter working for CNN as a Sports Anchor. He joined the CNN news team in March 2013, after previously working for KDAF News.
Scholes is a news anchor for sports who lives in Atlanta. He gives CNN and HLN reports on Bleacher Report. Scholes worked as a sports anchor and reporter for KDAF in Dallas, Texas, before he joined CNN. KAMC 28 News hired him in August 2008 and put him on as a weekend sports anchor until April 2011. He was also a sports reporter for KLST News on the weekends from August 2006 to August 2008.
He has worked as a reporter for many years and has covered many sports events, such as the Masters, the World Series, and the Super Bowl. Scholes got his Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Houston with honors. Aside from TV, Scholes was best known for his job as a ballboy for the Houston Rockets. He was born and raised in Houston, Texas, and his favorite teams are still the Texans, the Rockets, and the Astros. Covering the Astros win the 2017 World Series was a “dream come true” for Scholes.
