Walker works as an anchor and reporter for CNN. She is based at the network’s global offices in Atlanta, where she co-hosts CNN This Morning Weekend with Victor Blackwell. Walker’s first job at CNN was as a reporter for CNN International in 2012. For hours on end, she covered several live big international news events without a script while working at CNNI. This made her stand out as one of the top breaking news anchors.
Walker, a CNN reporter, wrote about the 2021 Atlanta spa massacre and the following outcry from the Asian-American community against the rise in hate crimes and racism because of the wrongly placed blame for the COVID-19 pandemic and Donald Trump’s speech.
