From 2015 to 2018, Kelsey covered Little League, junior college, and high school sports. In December 2020, she earned her Master of Journalism from the University of Maryland. She also graduated from McDaniel College in 2016 with a communication undergraduate degree. Covering sports of all kinds across the Omaha viewing area excites Kelsey. In Hagerstown, Maryland, Kelsey started her career in journalism as a sports reporter for The Herald-Mail, the local newspaper. In March 2023, Kelsey began working as a sports reporter and anchor for 3 News Now. She worked for FOX 55 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, for two years as a multimedia journalist and stand-in news anchor before relocating to Omaha.
