Grady Trimble Career
Trimble began his career at Fox Business Network in 2019, as a Washington correspondent. His job is to cover legislation, big tech, and business policies. From his office in Washington, D.C., Trimble covers policy, the White House, and breaking events for FBN. He most recently helped FBN cover the 2022 midterm elections. Before, he worked as a reporter in the Chicago bureau, where he covered the car industry, including the ongoing strike by the United Car Workers against General Motors.
Trimble used to work as a general assignment reporter at WTSP-TV in Tampa, Florida, which is a CBS station. In the three years that Trimble worked there, he covered major national news events like Hurricane Irma, the Pulse bar shooting, and the 2016 election.
Trimble used to work as a multimedia writer for NBC stations WLBZ-TV in Bangor, Maine, and WCSH-TV in Portland, Maine, before coming to work for WTSP. Also worked as a sports and news intern at Clear Channel Radio as a programming intern from April 2013 to August 2013 where he collaborated with an on-air personality to produce a radio show and participated in on-air discussions, wrote blog posts, and updated social media, promoted the station contests and programmed show logs and operated various soundboards.
Trimble worked as a radio show host at Winthrop University from August 2011 to December 2011 at Rock Hill where he prepared talking points in popular culture and a music playlist for a two-hour radio show, established a fan base within the school and across the southeast United States and listened and responded to the viewpoints of listeners who called in.
Trimble got his bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of North Florida in 2014. He began his career as a reporter while still in school. At age 19, he made his on-air appearance at First Coast News WTLV/WJXX (NBC) in Jacksonville, Florida.
