Anthony Antoine is an American Emmy-Award Winning anchor working for FOX26 as a weekday evening anchor. He co-anchors alongside Rashi Vats and Caroline Collins on the 5 pm, 6 pm, 9 pm, and 10 pm newscasts. He joined the FOX26 news team in June 2018, after previously working for Nextar media Group Inc.

Antoine attended Saint Anthony High School where he was awarded his High School Diploma in 2005. He moved on to pursue his Bachelor of Arts – BA Mass Communication and Media Studies at Bowling Green State University. During his college years, he completed an internship at CBS in Los Angeles, California, where he contributed to the production of shows such as Entertainment Tonight, Wheel of Fortune, and Jeopardy. He describes this opportunity as a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Furthermore, he came to Bayou City after spending 5 years in Richmond, Virginia. During that time, he won 5 Emmys as the weekday morning anchor.
Additionally, he takes pride in being a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated. In 2009, he successfully earned a degree in Telecommunications with a minor in Ethnic Studies. He became a part of FOX 26 after fulfilling roles as an early morning news anchor at NBC affiliate WWBT in Richmond, Va., and later mornings on WLRF FOX. Before his time in Virginia, he dedicated six years to WCIA3 in Champaign, Ill. His journey there began as a camera operator, progressing through roles as a reporter, and ultimately, landing the position of an anchor.
His initial fascination with broadcast journalism traces back to his upbringing, where he regularly watched the news with his mother, whom he affectionately referred to as a “news head.” This early exposure sparked his interest in pursuing a career in the field. He made his notable debut on the evening newscasts of the FOX 26 news channel on Monday. Joining the team of evening anchors, including Rashi Vats, Caroline Collins, and meteorologist Remeisha Shade, he will be presenting the nightly news.
Moreover, he steps into the role previously held by Jonathan Martin, the former evening anchor who departed the channel in April after a seven-year tenure, choosing to join Atlanta’s NBC news station 11 Alive as a weekday anchor.
