Amanda Fay is an American anchor and reporter working for WTOL 11 on weekdays at 9 a.m. and also WTOL 11 News at Noon. She joined the WTOL 11 news team in July 2014, after previously working for FOX28.
Fay graduated from the University of Central Florida where she received a bachelor’s degree in radio-television broadcasting. She got her first job in TV at WFTV in Orlando as an associate producer. After that, she relocated to North Dakota and worked as an anchor and political reporter for KFYR-TV for four years. It was difficult to get used to the harsh winters there, therefore living in the Midwest is rather easy! Amanda worked at FOX28 in South Bend as an anchor and reporter before moving to Toledo. Fay has genuinely loved getting to know the locals and discovering what makes each community special.
