Wendy Osefo is a Nigerian-American political commentator, philanthropist, academic in public affairs, and television personality. She is best known for being one of the cast members of the Bravo TV reality show The Real Housewives of Potomac. In addition, she is an assistant professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Education.

Additionally, she serves as the director of family and community engagement for President Barack Obama’s anti-poverty initiative, DC Promise Neighborhood Initiative.
