Wendy Osefo is a Nigerian-American political commentator, philanthropist, public affairs academic, and television personality. She is best known for being one of the cast members of the Bravo TV reality show The Real Housewives of Potomac. In addition, she is an assistant professor at the Johns Hopkins School of Education.

As of the moment, she is a professor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Education specializing in urban education and politics. Additionally, she serves as the Director of Family and Community Engagement for President Barack Obama’s anti-poverty initiative, DC Promise Neighborhood Initiative.
During her leisure time, she enjoys cooking for her family. She is currently working on writing her first book set to be published in 2021 titled Tears of My Mother which explores the immigrant experience, ambition, culture, and family.
