Vern Yip House
Yip rebuilt and remodeled his 2,180-square-foot, five-bedroom holiday house in Rosemary Beach with great care. Originally designed by George Israel in 2003, the property is presently listed for $4,900,000. In 2018, HGTV Magazine was given a tour of the cherished family getaway by Yip and his husband. When he and Koch first purchased the property, they intended to demolish it and construct a replica of the home they had previously constructed and sold. However, the original house still exists, albeit with many modifications.
The cottage-style house has recently undergone renovations, revealing numerous balconies on the exterior and a plethora of vibrant patterns inside. The kitchen has a farmhouse sink, two refrigerators, and blue cabinets. The bedrooms and sitting areas are decorated with blue, orange, and green patterns interspersed with tiger prints. Situated directly on the beach, the house offers a calm outlook and a convenient spot for family outings — however, some sand may track the entire family inside. While Yip’s two dogs track in enough, he acknowledged to HGTV that his kids bring in more.
