Nymphia Wind is an American-born-Taiwan-raised drag racer, dressmaker, and TV Personality. She is known for being a cast member of the reality television show; RuPaul’s Drag Race which airs on MTV.
Wind makes clothes and sews materials together. She says her name, “Nymphia,” comes from the Pokemon’s Japanese name, “Sylveon.” Wind is best known for her roles as Leo and Nymphia on RuPaul’s Drag Race season 16 and her mother. Wind went to the University for the Creative Arts Fashion Atelier in England, but she started doing drag in Taiwan. Instead of doing her required six months of military service in Taiwan, Wind served in the Taiwanese Fire Brigade.
Wind was on season 16 of the hit American reality show RuPaul’s Drag Race in early 2024. The show won a lot of awards. The first episode of the show aired on MTV on January 5, 2024. In this show, 14 new drag queens are fighting for the grand prize and the title of “America’s Next Drag Superstar.”
