Natasha Zouves is an American Emmy-Award Winning anchor working for NEWS NATION as a news anchor and investigative correspondent. She joined the NEWS NATION news team in 2000, after previously working for ABC7 News.

In 2012, Zouves achieved a dual Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree at the University of Southern California. During her time there, she excelled as a Renaissance Scholar and graduated with honors, being inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. Her academic accomplishments were earned at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, where she pursued a double major in Broadcast Journalism and Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. Later in 2020, she furthered her education by completing a Master of Science in Biotechnology Enterprise and Entrepreneurship from Johns Hopkins University.

She was employed at San Diego’s KGTV (10News-ABC) from 2013 until late in the summer of 2015. Here she served both as a reporter and an anchor. In July 2015, she accepted a position as a reporter and anchor at San Francisco’s KGO-ABC7 News. Alongside Reggie Aqui, she began anchoring the morning show on December 21, 2015. Beyond her role as a news anchor, she contributed to impactful reporting on various topics, including the housing crisis’s impact on the ability of domestic violence survivors to leave their abusers. Her reporting also featured stories of resilience, such as bringing together two men who survived jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge. Her storytelling at KGO-ABC7 News earned her two Emmy Awards.

In 2018, she experienced a severe concussion shortly after finishing a newscast, but she made a full recovery and returned to work in early 2019. Reflecting on her experience, she expressed hope that sharing the details of her injury and recovery would raise awareness and provide support to others facing similar challenges. In September 2019, she left ABC7 News after being selected for the John S. Knight Fellowship at Stanford University. During her time at KGTV in San Diego, she garnered attention beyond her reporting skills when she was voted “Hottest San Diego News Girl” by the radio station 93.3 in late 2014. In a notable incident in November 2014, while covering a story, a minor crash occurred directly behind her as the cameras were rolling.
