Marysol Castro is an American host working for PIX11 as the weekday morning co-host of New York Living, which airs from 10 am to 11 am. She is also a public address announcer at Citi Field, home of the New York Mets.

Before Castro began her career at ABBC News, she worked for WPIX in New York where she served asa general assignment reporter. Marysol also worked for News 12 in Bronx. where she served as a reporter and for a short stingt, she was an English teacher at Poly Prep Country Day School in Brooklyn. She left GMA in September 2010, and she joined CBS in January 3, 2011, as the weekday weather forecaster for The Early Show replacing Dave Price. However, an announcment was made informing that Castro would be leaving her post as weather anchor on September 2, 2011.

Prior to Marysol’s current position, she served as the Traffic Reporter on PIX11 Morning News when it was launched in 2001, and later became its anchor in 2013. Before Castro joined PIX 11, she worked at CBS’ The Early Show and on Good Morning America where she served as the weather anchor.

In addition, she also worked at ESPN where she served as the host of Premier Boxing Champions and the Little League World Series. Furthermore, she was named as the first female Public Address announcer for the New York Mets in 2018, thus making her the first Latina PA announcer in Major League Baseball.
