Mary Ours Biography
Mary Ours is an American meteorologist working for KDKA as a weekly meteorologist. She re-joined the KDKA news team in October 2019.
Ours was brought up in the small town of Beaver Falls in the town of Joe Namath. She attended high school in Joe Namath for three years. Later on, she joined Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School where she majored in musical theater and graduated in 2008. Mary had worked at KDKA in 2011, as an intern while she was a college student. She attended Point Park University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcasting in 2012. Mary also attended Mississippi State University where she graduated with a Certificate in Broadcast Meteorology.
In addition, Mary started her career in Steubenville, Ohio where she worked for WTOV9 in 2013. While she worked at WTOV9, she served as a weekend weather anchor and reporter. Later in 2016, she moved to WJAC-TV where she served as the weekday morning meteorologist in 2016. Furthermore, Ours has also been interested in assisting people since her childhood days. When she was 12 years old, she began her own event to assist victims of 9/11.
Whenever Ours finds time to spare, she enjoys; binge-watch TV shows, singing the national anthem at sporting events, listening to music, reading a book, eating at a local restaurant, traveling in the country, and spending time with her husband, children, and her pomsky Jasper.
