Kristina Behr Biography
Kristina Behr is an American Emmy award-winning anchor, reporter, and producer Freelancing at Long Shot Productions, LLC as the co-host local morning/talk show “New Jersey Morning Show.” She joined Long Shot Productions, LLC in May 2022.
While Kristina was 16 years old, she attended the Daytime Emmy Awards as her mother’s date as her mother was in the television industry. By the time she was 15 years, she had begun interning in a number of shows and later attended Boston University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism. In addition, Behr worked on and off the camera for; CBS, Vh1, buzz60.com, ABC, The Better Show, White Cherry Productions, AOL, Yahoo, WPIX, and MTV.
Behr had her first big break while she worked for PIX11 Morning News as she flew in the skies in the “Air 11” helicopter to cover breaking news and traffic. While she worked at WPIX, she created her own human interest feature series known as What’s Your Wish? which assists people in need, and “The Behr Hunt.” In addition, she also served as a reporter covering a number of the most relevant news stories in NYC history and often filled in as a morning traffic reporter.
Kristina also assisted in launching the digital media studio at WPIX whereby she covered a wide variety of stories online for Tribune’s New York flagship station in partnership with AOL. She also had the privilege to show off her love of all things related to entertainment and lifestyle while serving as the co-host of the nationally syndicated talk show known as The Better Show. For almost 8 years, Behr worked at News 12 New Jersey while serving as an anchor for the morning newscast.
While she was an anchor at News 12 New Jersey, she covered the Covid-19 pandemic and its impact on local viewers. She showcased a diversity of engaging student programs New Jersey schools have to offer while serving as host of “Education Matters” and “State of Our Schools” on News 12. In addition, Kristina traveled across the state while highlighting all of the fun, family activities in New Jersey while serving as a reporter for News 12 Network-wide series “Road Trip: Close to Home.” Furthermore, over the years Kristina has covered a wide range of topics including; political campaigns, red carpets, Superstorms, and traffic.
