Kelsey Kushner is an American anchor and reporter working for WJZ-TV as a weekend evening anchor and weekday evening reporter at 11 pm. She joined the WJZ team in January 2019.
Over the years, Kelsey has covered everything from the Cockeysville Manhunt to the Pikesville Gas Explosion to crime in Baltimore City. Delaware is where Kushner was born and brought up and she attended the University of Delaware where she graduated proudly with a Bachelor’s degree in journalism. In addition, before Kelsey came to Baltimore, he worked for CBS affiliate WINK News in Fort Myers Florida
While Kushner worked at WINK she covered major stories like; Hurricane Irma, the FIU Pedestrian Bridge Collapse, Hurricane Michael, Florida’s election re-count, and the Parkland School Shooting. Furthermore, Kelsey also covered and interviewed Erin Brockovich and Florida’s water crisis. For having covered Hurricane Irma, Kushner was awarded an AP Breaking News Reporter award.
