Ian Schwartz is an American meteorologist working for 3TV as a morning meteorologist on Good Morning Arizona. He works alongside; Olivia Fierro, Gina Maravilla, Javier Soto, Tess Rafols, and Scott Pasmore on Good Morning Arizona. He joined the 3TV team in December 2015, after previously working at CBS 13 as a weekend weathercaster and weekday reporter.
Arizona is his native home and he was brought up in Mesa. Ian attended Arizona State University where he studied in its Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism in 2006. He also studied broadcast meteorology at Mississippi State University and graduated in 2014. Ian began his journalism career in Illinois and later on, worked in Albuquerque at CBS 13 and in Sacramento.
In addition, while serving as a reporter, he covered; blizzards, droughts, flash floods, wildfires, tornadoes, and just about everything the weather can offer. During Schwartz’s leisure time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, and exploring everything our great state has to offer.
