Drew Engelbart is an American Emmy-Award Winning anchor working for FOX31 as a morning news anchor. He joined the FOX31 news team in July 2015, after previously working for Kris-TV.
Engelbart completed his high school education in Fort Collins, where he played baseball for state powerhouse Rocky Mountain High School. Additionally, he was named First-Team All-State as a senior in High School. He moved on to graduate from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University, with a Bachelor of Arts – BA Broadcast Journalism in 2010.
In July 2015, he became a part of the FOX31 Denver and Channel 2 News team. Prior to this, he served as a sports anchor/reporter at KRIS-TV in Corpus Christi, Texas, for a duration of 3 years. Additionally, he held the position of a sports anchor at KTWO in Casper, Wyoming, for 2 years. These roles comprised his professional experience before returning to his home state. Furthermore, he won the coveted Emmy Award in September 2021.
He enjoys spending time with his family and plenty of friends throughout the state and enjoys telling stories that inspire others. In his free time, you’ll find him golfing or working out in the summer, and skiing in the winter.
