Dr. Walters has been through two rounds of breast cancer and has turned her pain into a drive to help women and men who have been diagnosed with breast cancer with their emotional and physical needs. She does this through her 50 Shades of Pink Foundation, an organization she started in 2013 to treat the inner and outer beauty of survivors.
Dr. Walters got her bachelor’s degrees from the University of Mississippi and Alcorn State University and her medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. She then did her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Medical Center of Central Georgia and Mercer University.
