Andrew Kozak is an American meteorologist and host working for CBS 3 as a weekday meteorologist. He joined the CBS 3 news team in September 2022.
Kozak’s love and interest in weather started when he was 4 years old and he was brought up in Staten Island, New York. He attended Staten Island Technical High School where he graduated in 2000. Later on, he joined the State University of NY at Oneonta where he earned a degree in meteorology. Andrew interned at WABC in New York City and six days after his graduation, he secured an on-air job in Casper, Wyoming as a weather forecaster. While he was at the station, he also served as the co-host of the ABC affiliate morning show.
In addition, Andrew has been tracking severe storms, floods, blizzards, and tornadoes in Memphis, Wichita, and Columbus, Ohio. He has also spent time in Kansas City and Austin where he helped out the weather teams there. Furthermore, Andrew has served as the host of many travel, entertainment, and celebrity segments, and the co-host of an entertainment show. Furthermore, whenever Kozak finds time, he enjoys testing his amateur chef skills, exploring Philadelphia, working out, volunteering, eating his way through the city, and spending time with friends and family.
