Nick Volturo is an American anchor and reporter working for 10 Tampa Bay as a morning anchor and reporter on weekdays at 4:30 a.m. He joined the 10 Tampa Bay news team in September 2023, after previously working for Sinclair Broadcast Group.
Volturo received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Hofstra University. Volturo covered breaking news, politics, sports, and weather as a nightside reporter for a CBS affiliate in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, before joining 10 Tampa Bay. He also periodically filled in at the anchor desk. Volturo covered the Pennsylvania Poconos for several years as a general assignment reporter before working there.
Upon joining television, he worked as the sports director in Traverse City, Michigan, a place he likens to Winterfell or even farther afield for fans of “Game of Thrones.” He is pleased to be leaving his extensive collection of hats, gloves, and heavy winter jackets behind after spending the majority of his news career working in sunny Florida.
