Zinnia Maldonado is an American reporter working for CBS2, as a morning reporter on the 4:30 am-7:30 am, 9 am & 12 pm newscasts. She joined the WCBS news team in July 2022, after previously working for WBZ.
While she worked at WBZ, she had the privilege of covering many national and breaking news stories including; the Harmony Montgomery disappearance, the Boston Marathon, and the Celtics’ journey to the NBA Finals. Before working at CBS Boston, Maldonado worked for FOX61 News where she served as a reporter and fill-in anchor. In addition, she covered a wide range of stories while she worked in Connecticut.
Philadelphia is Zinnia’s native home and she attended Penn State University where she graduated Magna cum laude with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Digital Media Trends & Analytics.
