Zach Myers is an American musician, songwriter, and singer who is the founder and currently the lead singer and guitarist for the rock band The Fairwell. Furthermore, he is also a former bassist and currently the manager of Memphis pop-rock band Sore Eyes, lead guitarist for the hard rock multi-platinum rock band Shinedown, and lead singer of Allen, Mack, Myers, & Moore.
Zach Myers Career
Memphis, Tennessee is his native home. While he grew up, his major guitar influences were Jimmy Page, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Damon Johnson, Jimi Hendrix, and Phil Lynott. He began his career in the year 2004 and during this time, he toured with Saliva filling in for Dave Novotny. In addition, he did make an appearance as a guest guitarist at the Nonpoint concert playing their hit Bullet with a Name with them. Furthermore, he joined Brother Cane as its lead guitarist on April 15, 2011, for their reunion show at Dallas International Guitar Festival.
In addition, he is the founder and lead singer, and guitarist of The Fairwell which is a rock band from Memphis, Tennessee. Over the years, members of the band have changed with the notable exception of long-time and current guitarist and vocalist Chris Allen. He also runs his own artist management company known as Cursed Management Group. Furthermore, he made his first foray into artist management with the Memphis rock band Sore Eyes. After he saw the band play around the local area and been suitably impressed, he requested Sore Eyes to support Shinedown for a few sold-out shows at The Machine Shop in Flint, Michigan in December 2008.
Additionally, his first guitar was a Series 10 – Strat. As of the moment, he owns over two hundred guitars of various makes as he is a collector of vintage musical equipment. He plays; Southern rock, hard rock, alternative metal, pop-rock, alternative rock, and post-grunge.
