Zach Klein Biography
Zach Klein is an American sports anchor working for WSB-TV as the sports director and he can be seen anchoring sports news for Channel 2 Action News at 6, the Channel 2 Action News Nightbeat, and Sports Zone Sunday. He joined WSB-TV in June 2008, after previously working for WFTV.
Other than the weekly sportscasts, Zach is greatly involved with the weekly University of Georgia program known as Bulldogs Gameweek and Bulldogs Gameday. Klein began his job as a television journalist at WDAF in Kansas City where she served as a sports producer and after working at the station for a year, he reported on high school, college, and professional sports. In addition, he later joined KOKH-TV in Oklahoma City as a sports director in 1999.
Furthermore, Zach studied at the University of Kansas where he graduated in 1996, with a degree. Over the years, he has been honored by winning a number of Emmy and AP awards for anchoring and reporting. During his leisure time, he enjoys golfing and he is a board member of the 1st Tee Atlanta. He also serves as the announcer on the first tee of the PGA Tour’s Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club.
