Dr. Metcalfe graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in 1993 and from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, with a Medical Doctorate in 1999. Genesys Regional Medical Center in Flint, Michigan, was the place where residency training was finished. After his residency, Dr. Metcalfe joined the Browning Claytor Family Health Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
