Vrushali Gokhle is an Indian actor who has made appearances in a number of Marathi TV serials and films. She is well known for being the wife of the late veteran Indian actor, Vikram Gokhale.

She began her acting career in the 1980s and in the year 1983, she acted in the Marathi TV series, Shwetambara alongside her late husband Vikram Gokhale, and the serial was aired on DD Sahyadri. In addition, Gokhle also made appearances in Marathi films like Aaj Jhale Mukt Mi in 1986 and Aaghaat in 2010.

Vrushali Gokhle Vikram Gokhale

Gokhle was married to Vikram Gokhale who was an Indian film, television, and stage actor. Vikram became well known for his Marathi theatre, Hindi films, and television. He was born on November 14, 1945, in Pune, Bombay Presidency, India to his father, Chandrakant Gokhale, and mother, Kamlabai Gokhale.

In addition, his father was a well-known Marathi actor and singer while his mother was the first female child actor in Indian cinema. Her great-grandmother, Durgabai Kamat, was the first female actor in Indian cinema. Vrushali and Vikram tied the knot on May 12, 1975.

Vrushali Gokhle Husband Illness/ Death

Gokhle’s husband, Vikram Gokhale health began to deteriorate in November 2022, and he was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. After a few hours of being hospitalized, a number of media houses claimed that he had died in the hospital. However, Vrushali cleared the rumors by stating that her husband had only slipped into a coma and still fighting for his life.

He was admitted to  Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital on November 5, and Gokhle stated that his condition had improved a bite however, he slipped into a coma again. She added that he has a host of health complications including his slipping again. He has had a host of issues, and at the moment, he has a multi-organ failure. Unfortunately, on November 26, 2022, Vikram Gokhale died.
