Vince Sims is an American anchor and reporter working for NBC5 as the co-anchor of the weekend evening newscast, weekly reporter, and host of 5 Talk Street. He joined the NBC 5 news team in July 2019.

Prior to joining NBC 5, Vince worked in Atlanta, Georgia where she served as an anchor and reporter for 5 years. Over the years, he has won three Emmy awards and an Edward R. Murrow award. He joined the NBC 5 news team after having over 25 years of experience in television news. Sims was brought up in Arkansas thus he is familiar with North Texas he began his career in journalism in Little Rock, Ark, and ever since, he has worked in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Shreveport, Los Angeles, and Monroe. Over the years, Vince has covered all types of severe weather situations such as hurricanes, tornadoes, and snowstorms.
