Vianey Arana is an American meteorologist working for NBC Bay Area as a weekend morning weather anchor at 4:30 am. She joined the NBC Bay Area news team in 2016, after previously working for KTSM (NBC).

Vianey was born and raised in Jalisco, Mexico, and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Cal State University at Northridge. Prior to joining NBC Bay Area, Arana worked as a reporter, news and weather anchor for KTSM (NBC) in El Paso, Texas. She served as the main anchor for affiliate station KVEO’s 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts during her time there.
Vianey received a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from Cal State University at Northridge after growing up in Jalisco, Mexico. Arana was a reporter, news anchor, and weather anchor for KTSM (NBC), El Paso, Texas, before coming to NBC Bay Area.
