Trump was signed to Wilhelmina Models and was a model in her teens and twenties. She made an appearance in a scene in the 2003 movie Something’s Gotta Give as an actress. She also made an appearance in Bret Michaels: Life as I Know It (2010) and an episode of The Apprentice (2011), which was hosted by her father-in-law, Donald Trump. From 2010 to 2013, she also debuted her own handbag brand, La Poshett.

Vanessa reportedly filed for an uncontested divorce in New York on March 15, 2018, but it was later discovered that the divorce was contentious.
