Tyler Moore Biography
Tyler Moore is an American meteorologist working for WTMJ-TV as a weekday morning meteorologist from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. He joined the WTMJ-TV news team in December 2023, after previously working for WTSP.
Moore attended Brookfield Central High School and graduated from North Carolina Asheville with a degree in atmospheric science. In addition to interning at CNN in Atlanta and WKRN-TV in Nashville, Tennessee, he played Division 1 men’s soccer in college. Moore is thrilled to return to Wisconsin, his home, to join WTMJ-TV Channel 4, the local news station he grew up watching.
Furthermore, he began his meteorological career at WJFW in Rhinelander. He later worked at KFSM-TV in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and, as of March 2022, WTSP in Tampa, Florida. He’s forecasted everything from tornadoes in Arkansas to tropical weather in Florida and blizzards in Wisconsin. He recently provided viewers with nonstop coverage of Hurricane Ian.

Tyler Moore Joining WTMJ-TV (Channel 4)
Milwaukee NBC affiliate WTMJ-TV (Channel 4) announced on Monday, Nov 20, 2023, that Moore would be the new meteorologist for the station’s morning newscasts, filling a position vacated earlier this year by Marisa Woloszyn. He joined TMJ4 on Dec. 4 and started appearing on the air shortly after that on “TMJ4 News Today”.
