Tucker Barnes is an American Emmy award-winning meteorologist who is currently working at FOX 5 DC. He serves as a morning meteorologist at 5 am on Fox 5 DC. Barnes joined the Fox 5 Weather Team in November 2003.
Just at the age of 5 years, his love for the weather had already begun as he would forecast the weather for his kindergarten class. He attended the University of California and later on, he also attended the University of Maryland where he graduated proudly.
Furthermore, he is a member of the American Meteorological Society. He says that he loves the country and its seasons. Some of his achievements while covering weather for Fox 5 are; the Derecho of 2012, the winter of Snowmaggedeon, and Covering Hurricane Irene in Ocean City (in the seafoam). During his free time, he enjoys gardening, football, and making fun of Steeler fans.
