Tucker Antico Biography
Tucker Antico is an American meteorologist working for CBS4/FOX59 on weekdays. He joined the CBS4/FOX59 team in August 2021, after previously working for WEAU 13 News in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
For as long as Antico can remember, he has been passionate about the weather and he began reporting the weather to his family when he was 2 years old. He attended Boston College High School where he earned a diploma. While in high school, he ran a popular weather website and was even an advisor to local school superintendents in calling snow days. Later on, Antico joined Penn State University where he graduated in May 2019, with a Bachelor of Science in meteorology. In addition, he completed with a concentration in weather risk management and a minor in energy business & finance with the original intent to go into the private sector.
Tucker gained interest in broadcasting during an internship before starting his senior year, at WCVB-TV in Boston. Furthermore, while Antico studied at Penn State, he also served as president of the Storm Chase Team, and one of his favorite hobbies is storm chasing. Despite the fact that Boston is Tucker’s native home, he is a huge fan of the Giants, New York Rangers, and St. Louis Cardinals.
While Tucker was in the Badger State he was a two-time finalist for “Best Local Meteorologist” in the Volume One Reader Poll, and won a Wisconsin Broadcasters Association award for “Best Online Personality.” During his leisure time, he enjoys playing almost every sport apart from hockey which is his favorite.
