Trish Hartman is an American correspondent working for 6ABC as a reporter. She joined the 6ABC news team in June 2015.
Bucks County is Hartman’s native home and Bensalem, Pennsylvania is where Trish was brought up. While she was in high school, she wrote articles for “Reality,” which is the teen section of the Bucks County Courier Times. She attended the University of Maryland where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism in 2005. While she was in her first semester of college, she watched the coverage of the 9/11 attacks solidified her decision to pursue a career as a journalist.
Trish began her career in Great Falls, Montana at KRTV, the CBS affiliate where she served as a reporter/photographer. While she worked at KRTV, she shot, enterprise, edited, and wrote her own stories. Later on. Hartman worked in Savannah, Georgia and while she was there, she covered news in the Low Country and the Coastal Empire. In addition, Trish assisted in creating and launching the ABC and FOX affiliate’s morning news shows, she also anchored and produced each of them.
In 2008, Hartman came back to Pennsylvania and she worked for WNEP in Northeastern Pennsylvania. While Trish was in the Pocono region, Scranton she covered news, and later on, she served as the evening news anchor. During her time in the Pocono region, she anchored wall-to-wall coverage during Tropical Storm Lee in 2011. During her spare time, she enjoys yoga, running, and knitting.
