Macke was born and raised in Newport, Kentucky, and attended Northern Kentucky University in 1992 and Newport Central Catholic in 1987. From the Ten O’clock News’ 1993 premiere, Tricia has been employed by FOX19. She began as a freelance reporter before moving on to full-time work as a reporter, weekend anchor, and host of a morning show. In 1999, Tricia was raised to the position of main anchor.
Some of her coverage that made headlines include the return of John Glenn into space, the O.J. Simpson double murder trial, and stories around the globe in Israel, Bosnia, and Germany. Prior to television, she worked in radio, anchoring the midday news on 1530 WCKY-AM.
