Weather Anchor, Smith is a meteorological personality dedicated to delivering precise forecasts for the CSRA. Her fascination with weather ignited at the age of 8, inspired by the film “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs,” where she aspired to embody the character “Sam Sparks” in real life. Joining the WFXG Weather Team in July 2023, she currently serves as a Weekend Weather Anchor and Multimedia Journalist on a full-time basis. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science at Northern Arizona University in spring 2023. Moreover, she is currently pursuing additional studies online at Mississippi State University for her Broadcast and Operational Meteorology Certificate.
Upon completion, she aims to attain the NWA Seal of Approval and the CBM (Certified Broadcast Meteorologist) Seal.
