Tina Cervasio Biography
Tina Cervasio is an American sports anchor working for FOX 5 as the lead sports anchor and reporter on Good Day New York and the evening newscasts. She joined the FOX 5 news team in January 2018.

Cervasio also serves as the host of “Sports Xtra,” which is a weekly sports show that airs on Sunday night at 10:30. On the show, she highlights major news from the greater New York metropolitan area and around the sports world. She also conducts exclusive interviews at the show and presents feature-length stories for the week in sports.
Since 2009, Tina had worked at FOX 5 as a fill-in sports anchor and reporter. Over the years, she has won seven New York Emmy Awards and she is part of the New York Knicks Broadcasts on MSG Networks, where she worked from 2008 to 2017. In addition, she had also served as the pregame and halftime host on New York Red Bulls broadcasts and she served as the reporter for the in-game and postgame.
Prior to joining the FOX 5 news team, Tina worked on CBS Sports Network where she served as a sideline reporter for college basketball, and football, and talk radio host at SiriusXM NBA Radio. In the year 2015, Tina became the first female lead host on SiriusXM NBA Radio. In addition, she has also served as the field reporter for the Boston Red Sox on the New England Sports Network (NESN). She also served as a sideline reporter for the NFL on FOX, and NBA on TNT, and play-by-play announcer for the Olympic Games with Westwood One Radio.
She attended the University of Maryland where she graduated with a degree in journalism. In 2014, she was honored by the College of Journalism with the Distinguished Terrapin Award for her Excellence in Journalism. In addition, she has also received awards such as the Nutley, New Jersey Hall of Fame Class of 2011. She has run the New York City Marathon for the Garden of Dreams Foundation for charity in 2008, 2009, and 2013.
On a regular basis, she motivates students in New York City Public Schools who have interest in sports and arts. Cervasio is also a member of the fundraising committee for the Clara Maass Medical Center Foundation/David Diehl Golf Invitational. Furthermore, she has served as an emcee on a number of fundraisers every year inclusive of the United Way of New York. Cervasio is also an active member of the Women in Sports and Events.
