Tim Joyce is an American meteorologist working for WGN-TV as a weekend morning weather anchor. Prior to joining WGN-TV, he worked at Q13 News (KCPQ-TV) in Seattle.
While Tim worked at Q13 News (KCPQ-TV) in Seattle, he served as a meteorologist and reporter for about ten years. During his time, he has served as a Chief Meteorologist for the station’s Portland sister station CW32 TV (KRCW-TV). In addition, he has also served as a reporter for transport, environmental, and quality-of-life issues.
Joyce also previously worked at KIRO 7 News in Seattle where he held a number of meteorologist positions. He has also worked at KTMR NewsSource 16, KOIN Local 6 News in Portland, and KVAL 13 in Eugene, Oregon. In addition, he attended Oak Park & River Forest High School where he got his first taste of broadcasting from the NewsScene television program where he served as a producer, writer and on-air commentator.
