Garverick graduated in 2020, right as COVID was beginning, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism with a 3.4 GPA from Ohio State University. While there, he was a Sports Director at WOUB and was awarded the Outstanding Senior Leadership Award. After school he found himself contemplating his career options. While he gained experience in various fields, his true passion lies in news reporting. This realization brought him back to pursuing a career in the news.
