Thomas Drayton is an American anchor and correspondent working for FOX 29 as the co-anchor of Good Day Philadelphia which airs from 4 am to 6 am. He rejoined the FOX 29 news team in October 2016.

Drayton was brought up in Delaware Valley and he attended Marcus Newcomb Middle School in Pemberton Township, New Jersey when his father was stationed at Fort Dix. Later on, he joined Pepperdine University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications. Prior to joining FOX 29 News, Drayton served as an international network correspondent and host. Before taking up his current role, Thomas served as the co-anchor of FOX 29 News at Ten and FOX 29 News at Five from September 2008 to 2013.
Thomas has received an Emmy award, and he has served as an anchor and reporter in Sacramento, Colorado Springs, Denver, Anchorage, and New York City. Over the years, Drayton has been recognized for his excellence in reporting with many awards and honors. A number of his awards and honors include; Outstanding News Producer, the National Association of Broadcasters Awards for Outstanding News Anchor, and Outstanding Investigative Reporting.
In addition, other accolades that Thomas has received include; the National Association of Black Journalists Awards, NAACP Recognition for Leadership and Commitment to the Community, and Associated Press recognition for local and national reporting as well as thirteen Emmy nominations. Furthermore, Thomas has worked in a number of non-profit organizations and he supports many projects such as individuals living with H.I.V./ AIDS and working with families in need.
Drayton is the founder of three academic scholarships that supports underserved children in the community. Previously he worked for the National Academy of Arts and Sciences where he served as the Sacramento Vice President. In addition, while Thomas worked at the National Academy of Arts, he founded an additional academic scholarship for minority students who had an interest in a broadcasting career.
