Terrence Lee is an American anchor working for FOX 32 as a weekday morning co-anchor of Good Day Chicago which airs from 4 am to 6 am. He joined the FOX 32 team on March 16, 2020.
Owings, Maryland is Lee’s native home, and he attended Temple University in Philadelphia where he graduated summa cum laude. Prior to joining FOX 32, Terrence worked for News 5 Cleveland where he served as the morning and noon anchor. He worked in Northeast Ohio for seven years and during that time, he covered a number of the largest stories for the last ten years. A number of the stories he covered include; the Republican National Convention, the rescue of the three women held captive for a decade, and the Cavaliers ending Cleveland’s sports championship drought. He also covered the 2016 World Series when the Cubs beat the Indians.
Lee started his career in Salisbury, Maryland where he worked at WMDT 47 as an anchor and reporter for a period of 6 years. Over the years, he has received a number of Emmy and Associate Press awards for his reporting, anchoring, and breaking news coverage. During his free time, he enjoys; going to concerts, working out, exploring Chicago’s neighborhood, taking long naps, and checking out new restaurants.
