Tami Mlcoch is an American anchor and reporter working for KGET 17 as a weekday evening anchor at 5, 6, and 11pm. She joined the KGET 17 team in 2000.
Mlcoch was brought up in Orange County and while she was 10 years old, she had decided that she would pursue a career in broadcasting, She attended California State University, Fullerton where she graduated with a degree in broadcasting. Later on, she secured her first on-air job at the Orange County NewsChannel and not long after, she joined KCAL-9 TV in Los Angeles where she served as an associate producer.
In addition, Tami has also worked at KERO in Bakersfield where she served as a reporter/ anchor prior to joining the 17 news team. Furthermore, Mlcoch is actively involved in the community and she is passionate about animals. While working at KGET, one of her first story was about Mikella McAuley, a young girl who passed away from leukemia as she waited for a bone marrow transplant.
