Suzy Shuster is an American Emmy award-winning sportscaster working for ABC Sports, ESPN, Turner Sports, FOX Sports, and HBO.
Shuster earned a degree in history and art history in 1994 from Columbia University, where she had historian Kenneth T. Jackson as her academic advisor. Following her graduation, Suzy started working as an intern sports broadcaster at CBS, where she covered the 1994 Final Four program. This was the beginning of an illustrious and long career for her. Her first non-sporting event which she covered was the 1996 presidential election. When she was working at Fox News, she was selected to cover the presidential election alongside Emily Rooney.
Shuster worked as an anchor and reporter for FSN West producer and Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel between 1998 and 2005. She also covered college football on ABC as a sideline reporter, then covered the NBA on TNT during the playoffs as a reporter for NBA TV. She now serves as the presenter of the pregame show for the USC football team and occasionally writes for the non-sports blog at The Huffington Post.
