Susannah Carr is an Australian anchor, Master of ceremonies, speaker and facilitator working for 7News as a 6 pm News anchor alongside Rick Ardon. She joined the 7News news team in 1985, after previously working for ABC.

During her schooling years, Carr enrolled at North Cottesloe Primary for Years 1 and 2, followed by Cottesloe Primary for Year 3. Subsequently, she continued her education at Iona Presentation College, attending from Years 4 to 12. Pursuing higher education, she pursued Law and Arts studies at the University of Western Australia. Additionally, she holds qualifications as an architectural draftsperson. She embarked on her media career in 1974 at ABC Radio in Perth, starting as an announcer. Within two weeks of joining the station, she found herself broadcasting on Christmas Day during the impact of Cyclone Tracy in Darwin. Notably, she led a film crew to Moscow, Russia, gaining access inside the Kremlin to create the documentary “The Secret Treasures of the Kremlin.” During the 2014 Sydney hostage siege, she presented coverage from Perth nationally due to the evacuation of Seven News Sydney studios in Martin Place.
