Steven Goldstein Biography

Steven Goldstein is an American sports broadcasting veteran working for CBS4 Miami as a sports anchor/reporter, commenter, and fill-in news anchor. He also serves as the play-by-play broadcaster for the Florida Panthers on Bally Sports Florida. In addition, he joined the CBS Miami team in 2015. 

Steven Goldstein Career 

Goldstein joined Canarsie High School where he graduated proudly and later on, he joined Syracuse University’s S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications where he earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism in 1991. He is the longest-acting voice of the NHL’s Florida Panthers as he has spent nine seasons serving as the television play-by-play announcer on Fox Sports Florida.

For two years, Steven served as the play-by-play reporter for Panther’s radio, and since 1997, he has been with the team as their radio and television host. In addition, Goldstein has extensive national experience while working for CBS Radio/Westwood One. Not long ago, he was the hockey play-by-play voice o at the 2014 Sochi Winter Games and at the 2010 games in Vancouver. In 1998, Steven was the hockey studio host and reporter in Nagano, and in 1994, he served as a producer of the Lillehammer games.

Furthermore, he served as the host of the 2016 Stanley Cup finals in addition to hosting NFL shows and covering a number of Super Bowls for the Westwood One radio network. Goldie also served as the morning host of Drive radio on WQAM and WINZ radio Miami. From 1995-2004 and from 2012-2015, he served as and post-game host for the Miami Dolphins Radio Network and Miami Hurricanes football respectively. He has also hosted Miami Dolphins’ weekly television shows and he has co-hosted the Pete Rose Show and other national talk shows from 1995-1997. In addition, Steven started his broadcasting career at CBS Radio Network in New York as and reporter for WFAN radio and a number of national radio outlets.
