Steve Eagar is an American Emmy award-winning anchor and reporter who is currently working at KDFW| Fox 4. He serves as an evening news anchor and reporter at the station. In addition, he joined the Fox 4 team in August 1995.
Aside from Eagar serving as an evening news anchor and reporter at Fox 4, he also serves as the host of a news segment known as Viewer’s Voice. While growing up, his life was focused on sports and later on, he earned a baseball scholarship to Brigham Young University.
In addition, major league baseball teams drafted three times including the San Francisco Giants, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Detroit Tigers with whom he signed a contract and played three seasons in the Tiger’s minor league system.
Later on, he returned to BYU where he finished his communications degree with an emphasis on broadcast news. Furthermore, before he began working at Fox 4 in the Dallas-Fort Worth, he worked at Salt Lake City, Utah, Nevada, Las Vegas, Arizona, and Yuma.
