Stacy-Ann Gooden is a Jamaican-born American model and Emmy award-winning meteorologist working for PIX 11. She serves as a weekend meteorologist and weekday reporter at the station. In addition, Ann joined PIX 11 in September 2019, after previously working for Time Warner Cable.
Jamaican is Gooden’s native home and she was brought up in Brooklyn. Prior to joining WPIX, she served as the morning meteorologist at NY1. Aside from providing local weather updates, Stacy-Ann also presented national weather forecasts for CBS This Morning Saturday and NBC Weather Plus. In addition, she is well known for her upbeat personality and straightforward approach in regard to delivering forecasts.
Over the years, Gooden has covered a wide range of weather events including; tropical cyclones, nor’easters, and all other types of weather phenomena. For Gooden’s coverage of Superstorm Sandy, she was awarded a New York Press Club award.
