Sorboni Banerjee is an American Emmy award-winning anchor and reporter working for FOX 13 Tampa Bay as a weekend morning anchor of Good Day Tampa Bay and a weekday consumer reporter. She joined the FOX 13 Tampa Bay team in June 2015.
Rhode Island is Banerjee native home and she attended South Kingstown High School where she graduated with a diploma. Later in 1998, she joined Boston University where she graduated summa cum laude in 2002, with a Bachelor of Science in broadcast journalism. For 10 years she worked in Boston and not long ago, she served as a morning news anchor for FOX 25. In addition, Sorboni has also worked at WHDH in Boston as an anchor and reporter and at ABC 6 in Providence as a morning anchor.
Furthermore, she began her career at NBC 25 in Hagerstown, Maryland where she served as an anchor, reporter, and political correspondent.
