Shelly da Cunha is an English journalist, artist, and author best known for being the second wife to the late Keith Levene. Shelly’s husband, Keith Levene was a musician who was a founding member of both, Public Image Ltd and The Clash.
Her husband Keith Levene, was born and brought up in Muswell Hill, London. Levene became a founding member of The Flowers of Romance and The Clash in 1976, and he was in charge of assisting to persuade Joe Strummer to leave the 101ers and join the Clash. However, he left The Clash before they began recording, and he co-wrote, What’s My Name with the group for their first album.
